Carlisa Cook is a visionary entrepreneur, choreographer, and youth mentor whose passion for empowering young people shines through every role she holds. In 2012, she founded Vizion Cheer & Dance, a performing arts program dedicated to helping youth grow in confidence, skill, and purpose—on and off the stage.

Carlisa’s love for dance began at the age of 5, shaping her into a versatile and well-rounded performer. She has trained at elite dance conventions such as Tremaine and has performed with distinguished programs including Spotlight Arts Academy, Contra Costa College, and San Francisco City College, among others. Her experience on stage evolved naturally into a calling to coach, teach, and mentor the next generation of performers.

With over a decade of coaching experience across the Bay Area, Carlisa has led competitive cheer and dance teams to earn numerous 1st and 2nd place championship titles, banners, and trophies. She currently serves as the Varsity Head Cheer Coach at Valley High School and Middle School Head Cheer Coach at Fortune Middle School in Elk Grove, where she continues to cultivate excellence, resilience, and team spirit in youth athletes.

In addition to her artistic and athletic leadership, Carlisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, bringing strong organizational vision and strategic leadership to her work. She is also advancing her commitment to youth development through mental health advocacy and is on track to graduate in 2026 with a Master of Social Work (MSW). From there, she plans to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), offering therapeutic support through Vizion Academy, where performing arts and healing intersect.

Carlisa believes that every child has a purpose. Her mission is to guide young people in discovering their passion, unlocking their potential, and performing with confidence—not only on the stage, but in every aspect of life.
